Description

Owl Cottage is a cottage dated 1710 with 20th-century alterations. It features coursed dressed and squared stone on the ground floor and red brick above, topped with a tiled roof and an end stack on the right. The building is two stories high with a two-window front. On the right side, there are 20th-century casement windows with four lights, while the left side of the ground floor has a heavy lintel above the window. The central entrance is covered by a gabled hood and has a painted lintel inscribed with "WW" above a boarded door. Owl Cottage adjoins Brook 1710 Cottage on the left and is included for its group value.
