Description

This is a milepost from the mid to late 19th century made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a chamfered top. The top face is marked with the word "COTTON." The left side indicates "LEEK 7," while the right side lists distances to Ellastone (6 ¼ miles), Rocester (9 ¼ miles), and Uttoxeter (13 ¾ miles).
