Description
The milepost located at Windy Harbour in Cotton is from the mid to late 19th century and is made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a chamfered top. The top face of the milepost is marked with the word "COTTON." The left-hand side indicates "LEEK 8," while the right-hand side displays the distances to Ellastone (5¼ miles), Rocester (8¼ miles), and Uttoxeter (12¾ miles).
