Description
Elm Farmhouse is a 18th-century farmhouse constructed from ashlar and red brick, topped with plain tile roofs and featuring brick integral end stacks and a ridge stack. The main part of the building is oriented northwest to southeast and faces southwest, while the southeast wing is aligned northeast to southwest. The farmhouse has two storeys and a gable-lit attic, characterized by a dentilled eaves band. It is roughly three bays wide, with a blind gabled wing to the right of the center. The left side has casements within chamfered surrounds, and the central section includes mullioned windows, with the ground floor window having three lights and the first floor window having two lights. The left-hand return of the wing features glazing bar sashes on the right and a door on the left. The property is shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Elms Farm.
