Milepost. Mid to late C19. Cast iron. Triangular section with chamfered top. Top face: "HOFTEN'S / CROSS". Left hand face:"Froghall 3 ½ / CHEADLE 6 ½ / HANLEY 13 / STOKE 14 / NEWCASTLE 15 ½". Right hand face: "ASHBOURNE 8 ¼".
