Description
This is a milepost located in Ipstones, likely from the early 20th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape. The head of the milepost is inclined and set about 600 millimeters above the ground. It is inscribed with the name "IPSTONES" on the front, "LEEK 6" on the left side, and on the right side, it reads "ELLASTONE 7 1/4/ROCESTER 10 1/4/ UTTOXETER 14 3/4".
