Description
Bridge Number 7 on the Leek branch of the Caldon Canal is an accommodation bridge built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed sandstone, with ashlar used for the string and coping. The bridge features an elliptical arch and has a string at deck level. The parapets are slightly cambered and the stonework ends in squared piers. The top of the bridge is finished with chamfered half round stone copings.
