Milepost. Early C19. Cast iron; approximately 500mm high; circular shaft base with inscribed head; a circular post with fluted conical capping above a double wedge guide with 2 panels inscribed to the left "LEEK/3/MILES" and to the right "NEWCASTLE/8½ MILES/BURSLEM/6½ MILES".
