Description
This cottage, located approximately 3 yards north of The Smithy, dates from the late 18th century and was repaired in 1977. It is constructed from large coursed and squared freestone blocks featuring herringbone tooling. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has coped verges that were formerly topped with ball finials. There is an ashlar ridge stack. The building is aligned in a north-east/south-west direction and consists of one storey with an attic, featuring two bays, 20th-century glazing bar casements, and a gabled dormer on the left. This cottage is included for its group value.
