Description

Sandy Lodge is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations and additions made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed dressed and squared stone, with brickwork used for the later additions. It features a tiled roof with verge parapets and brick stacks at the ends. The house has two storeys and a two-window front that is offset to the right. The first floor has 20th-century casement windows, while the ground floor features two-light block mullioned casements. There is a lobby entrance with a boarded door located at the left end. To the left, there is a brick addition with one window, and to the right, there is a garage addition. At the rear, there is an 18th-century outshut.
