Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed dressed and squared stone of ashlar quality, featuring a raised band at the first-floor cill level and rusticated quoins. The roof is tiled with a moulded eaves band and has ashlar end stacks. The building is two stories high with a symmetrical three-window front. The windows are glazing bar sashes set in a raised surround, with implied voussoirs above. The central entrance has a part-glazed 20th-century door.
