Description

Megcrofts is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Bottom Lane in Ipstones. The building is constructed of coursed dressed and squared stone, topped with a tiled roof that features verge parapets and end stacks made of ashlar integrated into the verges. It has an L-shaped plan and is two stories high with a three-window front. The windows are glazing bar sashes, and there is a flush gable at the right-hand end. A central porch, which has a flat roof and is parapeted, sits beneath a window band that is banded above and below the parapet, featuring a Tudor-arched entrance.
