Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Springhill Lane in Lower Penn. It features a timber-framed structure with a fishscale tile roof and a central brick stack. The cottage has a two-cell plan and is one storey high with an attic. The eaves display three square panels and straight braces. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century bay windows, and the attic has flat-roofed dormers. The entrance door is positioned to the right. Inside, the roof is supported by queen-strut roof trusses.
