Description

The Thatch Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Clungunford. It is timber framed and has a thatched roof with a scalloped ridge and an external end stack with a brick shaft. The cottage is one storey and attic, with two square panels visible to the eaves. It has two bays with casement windows, and the thatch is arched over the attic dormers. The roof structure contains queen strut trusses with v-struts above the collar. A small extension to the left incorporates the present entrance.
