Description

The property comprises a house, later divided into a pair of cottages, dating to the 16th and 17th centuries. It is timber framed with oak lath panels, set upon a plinth of coursed rubble. Parts of the timber framing have been replaced with brick. The roof is clad in asbestos tiles, with a brick ridge stack and end stacks. The building has a three-framed bay layout. It features one storey and an attic, with two large square panels and one small square panel to the eaves, and straight bracing. There are three windows: two 19th-century leaded casements to the left and centre, and one 20th-century casement to the right. Three gabled dormers are also present. The front has two boarded doors. Inside, the ceilings feature chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
