It features a timber-framed structure with plastered infill panels and a plain tile roof, along with a brick stack positioned behind the ridge. The cottage has a two-cell range and stands two storeys high, showcasing three tiers of square panels at the eaves level and straight braces. The front has two windows fitted with 20th-century glazing bar casements, and there is a 20th-century nail-studded door to the left. The right-hand gable end reveals an exposed queen strut roof truss and two tiers of large rectangular panels extending up to the eaves. Inside, the cottage is reported to have an open timbered ceiling and straight wind braces.
