Description
The Coach Hotel is a public house located on Coleshill High Street, dating from the early 19th century with later alterations and additions. The building is constructed of roughcast brick and features a hipped plain tile roof with a brick stack positioned behind the ridge. It stands three storeys tall, with a reduced height on the second floor, and has a dentilled eaves band. The façade consists of two bays, showcasing tripartite glazing bar sashes with segmental heads and raised keys. To the right, there is a four-panel door framed by a pilastered doorcase and a rectangular overlight. A double-gabled extension is located to the right, which is two storeys high and has four bays of glazing bar sashes and casements. There are further extensions at the rear. Although the interior has been altered, it still retains an 18th-century cast iron fireplace surround.
