House, formerly bank, now shop. c1820. Stucco with parapeted roof and brick end stack. L-plan. Georgian style. 3 storeys; 6-window range with single-storey wing to right. Rusticated ground floor, 1st floor sill band and top cornice and parapet, pediment to left. Entrance to wing has rusticated piers and entablature, inset ashlar antae and iron grille with gate. Windows to ground floor have rusticated flat arches over plate glass sashes; 1st floor has windows in architraves with friezes and cornices and balustraded aprons, 2/1-pane sashes; 2nd floor has windows in 4-sided architraves with 6-pane sashes. 4-window left return to The Friary has round-headed entrance to right end with fluted imposts, bracketed cornice and rusticated arch over timber tympanum to 6-panel door. Rear has pedimented gabled wing with 2-storey canted bay window over C20 single-storey flat-roofed addition.
