Description
Samuel's Public House is a public house dating from around 1750. It is constructed of painted brick and features a tile roof with a brick stack positioned cross-axially. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. There is a platt band above the first floor and the eaves have been altered.
On the left side, there is a late 19th-century shop front that includes consoled entablature blocks extending over the ground floor frieze and cornice. This shop front features etched plate glass above timber panels and a half-glazed door with an overlight. To the right, there is a window with a sill and a stop-chamfered lintel above a four-pane horned sash. The first floor has three windows, each with eight-pane sashes that have wide frames. At the rear of the building, there is a 20th-century wing.
