Description

This is a milepost, possibly from the early 20th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with an inclined head that is set about 600 millimeters above the ground. The front of the milepost is inscribed with "HAMMERWICH/PARISH," while the left side indicates "LICHFIELD 2½" and the right side shows "WALSALL 7."
