Description
This is a milepost, possibly from the early 20th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape and is positioned at an incline about 500 meters above the ground. The head of the milepost is inscribed with "SHENSTONE/PARISH". The left side indicates a distance of "LICHFIELD 3", while the right side shows "FOUR OAKS 4/SUTTON-/COLDFIELD 5¼/BIRMINGHAM 12".
