Description
The Bulls Head is a house that has been converted into an inn, dating from the mid-18th century with some minor alterations made in the 20th century. The building features rendered brickwork with raised bands at the floor levels and tiled roofs. It has verge parapets and an end stack on the left side. The structure is two stories high with a dormer-lit attic and has a four-window front. On the left, there are three gabled dormers above sash windows that have raised keystones. The ground floor includes a three-sided bay window on the left, one sash window to the right of the center, and an entrance on the right with a moulded surround and cornice. There is a gabled addition on the right end and a further lower range at the extreme right. Inside, the building has been significantly altered but still retains a staircase with two turned balusters per tread, an open string, and carved consoles.
