Description
Three houses located at Lombard Gardens, built in the early 19th century with later alterations. They are constructed of brick and feature a slate roof with two brick cross-axial stacks and an end stack. Designed in the Georgian style, the houses are two storeys high and have a six-window range: two windows for No. 1, three for No. 2, and one for No. 3. The eaves are plain.
No. 1 has a round-headed entrance to the right of the center, featuring a doorcase with fluted pilaster strips, a deep, consoled cornice, and a fanlight with radial glazing bars above a six-fielded-panel door. No. 2 has a similar entrance to the left of the center, while No. 3 has a segmental-headed entrance to the left with an overlight above a six-panel door. The windows have sills and brick flat arches over twelve-pane sash windows. No. 1 has two ground floor windows to the left of the entrance and one to the right, while No. 3 has one window on each floor. The rear of the houses has varied wings, including a large 20th-century addition.
