Description
Three houses, at 1, 3, and 5 Regent Street, were built in the early 19th century and restored in the late 20th century. They are constructed of brick, with a painted ground floor, ashlar dressings, and a slate roof topped by a ridge stack. The houses feature a plinth, a sill band to the first floor, and a renewed wooden eaves cornice. They are three storeys high, with an eight-window front. The upper two floors contain 12-pane sashes, while the upper window level has nine-pane sashes, some of which have been reglazed. All windows are topped with brick flat arches. The ground floor has a centrally placed round-arched doorway with a fanlight, and two additional doorways with overlights. There are five 12-pane sashes along the ground floor.
