GV II

House, now office. Probably late C17 or early C18 with mid C19 alterations. L-plan. Brick with some timber-frame; tile roof with T-plan brick cross-axial stack. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Plastered plinth and top brick cornice. Entrance has doorcase with panelled pilasters, frieze and cornice, 6-fielded-panel door; left end has segmental-headed carriage entrance with paired plank doors. Segmental-headed windows have sills and 4-pane horned sashes, that to 1st floor left end is small. Rear has exposed timber-framing with brick infill and brace, 2 windows to 1st floor with 2-light casements with iron opening casements; gabled wing to left with casement windows. INTERIOR: some chamfered beams and large fireplace to room to left.
