Description

A pair of cottages located in Park Lane, Fazely, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. The cottages are constructed of timber framing with brick infill, featuring a plain tile roof. Brick external end and ridge stacks are also present. The cottages are aligned north-east to south-west, facing north-west, and are single-cell structures with a first floor lit by gables. The left-hand cottage is of 17th-century origin. It has two large square panels to the eaves and slightly curved braces, with a casement window to the left and a partly glazed door with a lean-to porch to the right. An exposed queen strut roof truss is visible in the left-hand gable. The right-hand cottage has a casement to the left, a large 20th-century window to the right of centre, and a 20th-century porch to the right.
