Description

This is a windmill tower dating from the 18th century, located approximately 50 yards north-west of the Windmill Inn in Longdon. The tower is constructed of red brick and sits on a high sandstone plinth. It has a circular plan and tapers as it rises to a cylindrical uppermost storey. The window openings feature segmental heads, and the entrance is situated towards the north-west. The interior of the tower has been gutted.
