Description

This is a windmill tower located approximately 100 metres east of Fairway, dating from the early 19th century. The tower is constructed of red brick, which was formerly tarred, and has a circular plan. It stands four storeys tall and features steps leading to the entrance. There are two windows on each storey, with all openings topped by segmental arches. The door and most of the window frames are missing. The tower has a stepped and cogged brick eaves cornice. The roof covering and most of the floors are also missing, but three millstones remain in situ on the first floor. The windmill was disused at the time of the last survey.
