Description
Manor Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, featuring a later rear outshut and a 20th-century roof. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and stacks, topped with concrete pantiles. It stands two storeys high and has two first-floor windows. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door set beneath a segmental brick arch, flanked by 8-pane sliding sashes with glazing bars, also under segmental brick arches. The first floor has three-light sliding sashes with lintels at eaves level. A dentilled brick eaves cornice runs along the top, and there are stacks at each end. The cottage is included for its group value.
