Description
The windmill tower, located approximately 30 metres south of Mill House, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, with some traces of tarring, and has a circular plan. The tower stands four storeys high and features a two-fold board door along with three 16-pane casement windows with iron glazing bars on the ground floor. There are three windows on the first floor, and two windows each on the second and third floors, with some windows having sliding sashes while others are missing. A dentilled brick cornice adorns the structure, and curb teeth are exposed at the top of the tower. The interior remains intact on the first and top floors, but the second and third floors are damaged. The windmill tower was disused at the time of the last survey.
