Description
The former stable, located approximately 10 yards north-west of The Old Vicarage, dates from the early 18th century and was extended later in the same century. It features a timber frame with full height rectangular panels, long straight tension braces, and brick infill, along with a brick extension and a plain tile roof. The stable is a 2-bay range oriented east-west and facing south, with the earlier bay situated to the west. It is one storey high with a gable-lit loft. On the south side, there is a central 2-leaf carriage door with a boarded door and a casement window above, and a full height 2-leaf carriage door to the right. The north side has a casement window to the right. The west gable includes a queen strut roof truss, while the east gable features a tie beam roof truss with raking struts.
