Description

The former smithy, located approximately 10 yards east of The Forge, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a plain tile roof, featuring a T-shaped plan. The head of the T is oriented north-west to south-east, while the stem runs north-east to south-west, facing north-west. There is a low extension to the south-west that follows the same alignment. The building is a single storey with irregular window placements and a boarded door. It is included in the listing for its group value.
