Description

Crown Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill and has a plain tile roof. The house is aligned north-west/south-east, facing southwest. It is a one-storey and attic building with two square panels visible beneath the eaves and straight braces. There are three windows, which are 20th-century casements, and three gabled dormers. A door is located to the left, within a porch with a hipped roof. The house is attached to Black and White Cottage on its left-hand side. An exposed roof truss is visible on the south-east side, featuring three vertical struts between the collar and tie beam.
