Description
This building is a school house dating from the 17th century, which was raised and reroofed in the late 19th century, with some additions. It is constructed of red brick with stone quoins and dressings. The building is single storey and sits on a plinth, featuring a three-window front. The windows have three-light stone cavetto mullions and transoms, with the label of the right window continuing and stepping down over a Tudor-arched doorway located at the right end of the building. The quoins on the left end display two inscribed panels, with "T.L./S.T." visible in the lower panel and "THOMAS ... SEV...." in the upper panel. There is an attached wing at the rear that has 20th-century twin-shafted Tudor-style stacks, and the entrance elevation is painted white, featuring segmental-headed 19th-century casements.
