Description

Moreton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with raised verges. The building has a baffle-entry plan consisting of three bays, with a range to the rear on the left that forms an L-shape. It stands two storeys tall with a gable-lit attic and includes floor bands. There are two mid-19th century mullioned and transomed casement windows on either side of a late 19th century glazed door located directly beneath the ridge stack. A mid-19th century gabled brick porch is situated at the junction between the left gable end and the rear range, which has coped verges and an end stack.
