House, latterly inn. C17 with mid-C19 alterations and additions. Timber framed, refaced and partly rebuilt in coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings; asbestos slate roof with partial catslide over outshut to West. L-plan, 2 framed bays aligned North-South, with later additions to North-west and South-east. 2 storeys. Framing: square panels (concealed) with wattle and daub infil. Truncated brick end- stack to South and C19 external lateral stone and brick stack to West. First floor 2-light segmental-headed casement to right, ground floor boarded door to right; outshut to left with 3-light segmental-headed casement to right and segmental-headed boarded door to left. Right-hand return front: 2 windows; 2-light segmental-headed casements. Interior: queen-post trusses, double purlin roof. Chamfered and stopped beams; C18 staircase.
