Description

Turnpike Cottage is a mid-19th century cottage with 20th-century additions to the rear. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a graded stone slate roof. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with two gabled eaves-dormers, each containing a 2-light casement window. There is an integral stone end-stack to the left. The front elevation has three windows, each a 2-light wooden casement. A one-storey addition to the right includes a boarded door. The building is included on the listing for its group value.
