Description
This is an 18th-century barn attached to the northwest corner of Brook Farmhouse. The barn is timber framed and stands on a red brick base with red brick infilling between the timbers. It has a plain tiled roof and irregularly spaced air vents. The barn has three bays, with wide central entrances on both sides, each fitted with double doors. The roof structure is a queen post roof with trenched purlins, and the interior is divided into three compartments by brick walls, which support the principal trusses. A 19th-century red brick extension to the barn exists on the northwest side.
