Description

This building is a pair of shops located at 23 and 23A Wyle Cop in Shrewsbury, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has three storeys and a four-window range. No. 23 has a late 20th-century shop front, while No. 23A has an early 20th-century shop front with curved glass windows. The upper windows are 12-pane sashes with flat-arched gauged brick heads. There is a string course and a moulded stone eaves cornice, with a parapet above that incorporates two gabled dormers.
