Description

20 and 21 Wyle Cop are a pair of shops with a later 18th century facade, likely built on a structure from the late 17th century. The buildings are made of brick and have a roof that is not visible behind the parapet eaves. They rise to four storeys and feature a five-window range. The shop fronts were updated in the 20th century, with No. 21 having curved glass windows. The upper windows consist of 2-pane sashes, with a central window space that is blind. The second storey has 12-pane sashes, while the attic features 6-pane sashes. All windows are flush-framed and have flat-arched gauged brick heads. A stone parapet sits at the eaves.
