Description

No. 135 Frankwell is a shop that likely started as a dwelling. It probably dates from the 16th century but was refronted in the later 18th century. The building is timber-framed and clad in brick, topped with a plain tiled roof. It has two storeys with an attic and features a two-window range. The ground floor has been altered to include a shop front, while above are four-pane sash windows and two steep gabled dormers in the roof. Square-panelled framing can be seen in the gable walls, and there are gable end stacks.
