Description

No. 19 Frankwell is a shop that likely started as a dwelling, dating from the early 18th century with later modifications and possibly an earlier core. The building features a rendered brick exterior and a plain tiled roof, with a timber-framed core. It has two storeys and gabled attic dormers, arranged in a two-window range. The early 19th-century shop front includes a central door flanked by bow windows, all beneath a continuous fascia supported by console brackets. There is a round-arched doorway to the right, and the upper windows are 12-pane sashes. The business is said to have been established in 1813, and the shop front may date from that time.
