Description
Nos. 106 and 107 Frankwell is a late 16th-century shop that was formerly two dwellings. The building features a timber-framed structure with brick infill on the ground floor and a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys tall with gabled attic dormers and has a four-window range. The upper storey is framed with close studding and has ogee tension braces below the middle rail. The ground floor, added in the late 20th century, is made of brick and includes a central door with plate-glass windows, along with an additional doorway to the right. The upper windows are late 20th-century leaded casements set in their original openings, with the central windows consisting of two lights and the outer windows having three lights, although one light is blocked in the left-hand window. The roof features three gabled dormers.
