Description

No. 42 Mill Street is an 18th-century house located in Ludlow. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof with a central brick ridge stack. The building stands three storeys tall with a cellar and has a three-window range. The windows include 6/6 sash windows set under gauged brick flat arches, with 3/6 sash windows in broad cases above. The eaves are moulded and modillioned. The entrance is positioned to the right and consists of a six fielded-panel door with a fanlight, all framed within a moulded round-headed doorcase that is topped by a flat hood supported by Tuscan pilasters.
