Description
This wall, likely built in the mid-19th century, is made of coursed Alberbury breccia with red sandstone dressings and shows signs of having been limewashed in the past. It runs approximately north-south, measuring about 50 metres long and 2.5 to 3 metres high. At the north end, there is a doorway featuring a chamfered pointed arch and a boarded door. The wall is situated next to the remains of Alberbury Castle at its northern end and the English Lodge at its southern end, contributing to its group value.
