Description
This is a two-storey shop, built in the later 18th century. It is located on Castle Street, Shrewsbury. The building is constructed of painted brick with a plain tiled roof. It has a two-window front with a shop front inserted into the ground floor. The upper floors contain 16-pane sash windows, each with a flat-arched gauged brick head. A cornice sits above the windows, followed by a high parapet containing two blind window recesses. Two dormer windows are set into the roof. An archway provides access to a rear courtyard to the right. No. 35A was separately listed on 30 May 1969.
