Description

This early 18th-century building on Princess Street, Shrewsbury, originally served as two shops with attached dwellings. It is constructed of painted brick with a plain tiled roof. The building is three storeys high and has a five-window front. The windows are 2-pane sashes with flat arches and 12 panes to the second storey. A central doorway is above a shop window, both within architraves. A fascia sits above the shop window to the right. To the left of the central doorway is a shop front with a doorway and window. A rainwater head with Corinthian detailing is centrally placed. The building has a parapet eaves line, behind which are three gabled dormers. A rear wall stack is present, and the rear of the building includes a stack.
