4/104 Nevett memorial approxi- - mately 7 metres to south of nave of Church of St Lucia

GV II

Pedestal tomb. Early C19. Grey sandstone ashlar. Raised side- panels with shaped tops, panelled corner piers, moulded cornice to chamfered top with base of urn finial. Inscribed: "In/Memory of/MARY Daughter/of FRANCIS and/MARY NEVETT/ of Upton Magna/Who died Novr 11 1808/Aged 24 years". Other inscriptions illegible at time of survey (February 1985). Part of the missing urn finial rests on the ground near the Church porch at the time of survey.
