Description

The Lucas memorial is a chest tomb located about 8 yards south of the nave of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a moulded plinth and flat capping, along with a panelled frieze and shaped inscription panels. It commemorates Sarah Lucas, who died in 1821.
