Description

The monument to Thomas Lucas is a sarcophagus located in Arnos Vale Cemetery, dating from 1859. It was made by Tyley of Bristol and is constructed from Portland stone in a Gothic style. The tomb is rectangular, measuring 3 meters by 1 meter by 2 meters, and features angle buttresses. There are three lancet panels on the sides and one on each end, with inscriptions in lead lettering dedicated to Thomas Lucas and his family.
